I’m Kathrin, living and breathing in the Pearl of the Orient Seas for 23 years. I’m an Ilongga by blood but I’m currently residing in the Queen City of the South (I work here.) for a year and a half now. I’m a no-fuss girl who enjoys the simple things in life and doesn’t like to party (crowds make me claustrophobic) or get drunk. I don’t wear makeup and I will choose sneakers over heels and jeans over skirts anytime. Sweets and chocolates are my guilty pleasure. Music is keeps me sane and happy. I like to listen to punk, alternative and indie rock. Paramore, Anberlin, Foo Fighters, Dashboard Confessional, The Academy Is, Tokio Hotel, and Jacks Mannequin/Something Corporate are my heroes. I can also bear listening to Pop, R&B, Christian and 80′s music or whatever sounds good to my ears. My music taste varies from time to time but rock music is a staple to my playlist.

I like being creative and I like to think of myself as one. I enjoy doing art projects back in my Elementary and High School days. I used to draw and sketch stuff back then but I stopped when school got busy and I haven’t drawn a single thing until know. I don’t know if I can still draw but I hope I can go back to it someday. Right now, I get creative through Web Design. I have attended Photoshop classes but I mostly learned the ropes through self-studying. I started Web Designing back in College and I decided to get serious just last year. Grunge and minimalistic layouts are what mostly comes out of my designs. I’m a hobbyist but I always dreamed of someday making this as a career because the www always fascinates me. Skill-wise, I know XHTML, CSS, a little of JavaScript, and basic to intermediate level of Photoshop usage. Next on my list of things to learn in the future are PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Joomla, and Drupal. My weapons of choice are Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Adobe Dreamweaver CS4.
